Mike fell in love with photography from his father, who collected cameras and was always involved with photography. During college at the University of New Mexico where he took a number of photo classes, Mike decided he wanted to get into the photo business. After graduation, he moved to New York City where he got a position with Sports Illustrated magazine running its Picture Sales department. While at S.I. he met Rich Clarkson and before long moved to Denver and is now Rich’s Director of Sales. Mike handles, among other things, all the stock photo sales for the group.
